Terms of Service

Founders Lunch Club is a community for startup founders, freelancers, entrepreneurs, and people building their own projects. We foster genuine connections between builders and creators through shared monthly lunches in Amsterdam.

1. Preamble

GP Creative Services (KVK: 93580932) (the "Operator", "We", "Us") operates the brand, website, and service Founders Lunch Club (founderslunchclub.com).

These Terms of Service apply to all users of the website and service.

By becoming a member of Founders Lunch Club and using our service, you accept these Terms of Service and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the service.

We reserve the right to deny access, at any time and without prior notice, to users who do not comply with these Terms of Service.

2. Registration, Subscription & Membership

To become a member of Founders Lunch Club, you must register via our sign-up form and complete your payment.

You only become a member once your first payment is completed.

Membership costs €10 per 3 months and renews automatically unless cancelled before the last day of the current membership period.

As a member, you will be matched with two other members in Amsterdam at the beginning of each month your membership is active.

We reserve the right to refuse or revoke membership if an individual is not a good fit for the community. In such cases, we will cancel your subscription and issue a refund for any unused period.

By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, truthful, and up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your profile information.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time by sending an email to hello@founderslunchclub.eu.

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current 3-month billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within an active billing period, except as outlined in our refund policy.

If you cancel, your membership will not auto-renew, and you will not be charged again.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a refund if:

• We were unable to match you because there were not enough members available.
• Your lunch matches did not work out despite reasonable effort.

To request a refund, email us at hello@founderslunchclub.eu with a brief explanation. Refunds are processed at our discretion.

5. Matching Process

Matches typically occur between the 1st and 7th of each month, though timing may vary.

Your first match will take place at the beginning of the month following your registration. For example, if you sign up on July 16th, your first match will be arranged at the start of August.

We match members based on location in Amsterdam. You may be matched with people from different industries and backgrounds to encourage diverse conversations.

When matched, you and your two lunch partners will receive an email containing the shared contact information and profiles of the group members.

The information shared is taken directly from the profile you provided during registration. You can request updates to your profile by contacting us at hello@founderslunchclub.eu.

6. Your Profile & Data

The information you provide during registration is used to introduce you to your lunch matches.

As a member, you are responsible for ensuring your data remains accurate and current.

We collect and store your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you agree that GP Creative Services may use your contact information for service-related communications and occasional outreach regarding relevant opportunities, events, or updates.

You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by contacting us.

7. Getting a Rematch

If your matches are unresponsive or unavailable for lunch, you may request a rematch by contacting us at hello@founderslunchclub.eu. We will do our best to rematch you with a new group the following month.

8. Having Lunch with Your Matches

Members are solely responsible for organizing their own lunches, including choosing a time, date, and location.

Founders Lunch Club does not host, organize, or supervise the lunches. We solely facilitate the introduction between members.

Communication between members takes place through the contact information provided in the match email.

We expect all members to be respectful, friendly, and professional. Any reports of harassment, inappropriate behavior, or violation of community standards may result in immediate termination of membership without refund.

9. Feedback

We highly value your feedback. After your lunch, you're welcome to share your experience with us by emailing hello@founderslunchclub.eu. Your input helps us improve the service.

We also love seeing photos from your lunches! Share them with us via email or tag us on social media.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify members of significant changes via email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the Netherlands.
